Prof. Edward Chan is dedicated to preventing family violence through impactful and socially relevant research. Prof. Chan is an internationally renowned scholar in family violence studies and the pioneering researcher in family poly-victimization. His expertise spans child and family poly-victimization, disadvantaged children facing poverty and disability, and internal migration in mainland China.
Prof. Chan’s excellence in scholarship has been consistently recognized. Since 2019, Stanford University reports have ranked him among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.
